Cross-Angle Stereovision Optics:
Excellent clarity is just the beginning of what you can expect with the Luxvision SL-880 tower illumination system. This advanced Cross-Angle Stereovision Optics system offers two-step magnification and a wide field of view.

Two-Step Magnification
The Luxvision SL-880 features an easy-to-switch two-step magnification system that allows for more detailed examination. Final magnifications are equivalent to 10x (Ø18mm) and 16x (Ø14.5mm) with the 10x eyepiece. Fine adjustments can also be made to the PD and optical correction.

Wide Field of View with PD and Diopter Adjustment Range
The Luxvision SL-880 Advanced Converging Stereoscopic Microscope offers a very wide binocular field of view, Ø18mm and Ø14.5mm, with a PD adjustment range of 55mm to 82mm. The SL-700 also features ±6D diopter adjustments using the 10x eyepiece.

High Luminance and Integrated Filters
The SL-880 utilizes a 12-volt, 30-watt high-luminance halogen lamp to provide intense illumination and excellent clarity. By moving the filter selection tray, you can easily choose from four Integrated Illumination Path Filters. Options include a heat-absorbing filter that increases patient comfort during long examinations, a red-free filter that enhances structural contrast, a cobalt blue filter for use in fluorescein assessment, and a gray filter. When indirect backillumination is required, it is easy to divert the illumination light using the unit’s well-positioned controls.

Continuous Slit Rotation and Aperture Adjustment
The SL-880 features a 2/3x magnified slit projection and allows continuous adjustment of the slit width from 0mm to 9mm via a simple adjustment knob. The slit becomes a circle at 9mm. By rotating the aperture and slit height selector, it is possible to select six light beams at full aperture: Ø9mm, Ø8mm, Ø5mm, Ø3mm, Ø1mm, and Ø0.2mm. The slit height, indicated in a display window, can also be continuously changed from 1mm to 8mm. With precise movements and controls, the operator can horizontally rotate the main slit body to rotate the slit image at any angle in the vertical or horizontal directions, from 0° to 180°. Another useful scale indicates the image rotation angle.

Optional Accessories
The Luxvision SL-880 slit lamp can be equipped with the TN-150 / TN-150B applanation tonometer or with the Haag-Streit AG applanation tonometers models R-900 or T-900 for intraocular pressure measurement.

Ergonomic Design Offers Comfort and Control
The SL-880 makes capturing the necessary views easy. All buttons, dials, and controls on the unit are ergonomically designed with a focus on comfort and efficiency. The adjustable rheostat-based illumination offers control of three different brightness levels.

Multidirectional Joystick
Maneuver the SL-880 with ease using the intuitive multidirectional joystick. Precise adjustments are at your fingertips, simply by rotating and tilting the joystick. The SL-880 base offers the following movements: forward and backward up to 90mm; left and right up to 100mm; fine movement up to 15mm and vertical movement up to 30mm. After achieving the correct alignment, the base can be locked to prevent slippage.
