The Luxvision SL-1100 features turret illumination with an advanced Cross-Angle Stereovision Optical System. The unit offers two eyepieces (10x and 16x) and two-step magnification (1x to 1.6x) .

Two-Step Magnification:
The SL-1100’s advanced optics offer two-step magnification, which can be easily switched between 1x and 1.6x during the examination using the conveniently positioned lever on the instrument. The final magnifications are equivalent to 10x (Ø18mm) and 16x (Ø14.5mm) with the 10x eyepiece, and 16x (Ø11.25mm) and 25.6x (Ø9mm) with the 16x eyepiece. Fine adjustments can also be made to the PD and optical correction.

Wide Field of View with DP and Dioptric Adjustment Range
The Luxvision SL-1100 Cross-Angle Stereovision Microscope offers a wide field of view of Ø18mm, Ø14mm, Ø11.25mm and Ø9mm, with a DP adjustment range of 51mm to 82mm, depending on the eyepiece selected. Dioptric adjustment can be made in ±8D with the 10x eyepiece.

High Luminance and Integrated Filters
The SL-1100 utilizes a 12-volt, 30-watt high-luminance halogen lamp to provide intense illumination and exceptional clarity. By moving the unit’s filter selection lever, you can easily choose from four integrated filters in the illumination path. Options include a heat-absorbing filter that increases patient comfort during prolonged examinations, a red-free filter that enhances structural contrast, a cobalt blue filter for fluorescein evaluation, and a gray filter. When indirect backlighting is required, the illumination can be diverted using the unit’s conveniently positioned controls.

Unlike
standard units, the Luxvision SL-1100 also allows for dilated examination of the fundus and posterior segment of the vitreous body using the Hruby Lens with the unit’s Hruby Lens Holder and Hruby Lens Guide Plate.

Continuous Slit Rotation and Aperture Adjustment:
The SL-1100 offers 2/3x slit projection magnification and allows continuous slit width adjustment from 0mm to 9mm using an easy-to-adjust knob. The slit becomes a circle at 9mm. A simple rotation of the aperture and slit height control knob reveals that six different light beams are available at full aperture: Ø9mm, Ø8mm, Ø5mm, Ø3mm, Ø1mm, and Ø0.2mm. The slit height, indicated in a display window, can also be continuously changed from 1mm to 8mm. With precise movements and controls, the operator can rotate the main slit body horizontally to rotate the slit image at any angle in the vertical or horizontal direction, from 0° to 180°.

Another useful scale indicates the image rotation angle. Four slit tilt levels — 5°, 10°, 15°, 20° — are also available for oblique illumination in contact lens assessments.

Ergonomic Design Provides Comfort and Control
The SL-1100 makes capturing the necessary views easy. All buttons, knobs, and controls on the unit are ergonomically designed, prioritizing comfort and efficiency. Adjustable rheostat illumination offers brightness control.

Multidirectional Joystick
Maneuver the SL-1100 with ease using the intuitive multidirectional joystick. Precise adjustments are at your fingertips, simply by rotating and tilting the joystick. The SL-1100 base offers the following movements: forward and backward up to 90mm; lateral movement up to 100mm; fine movement up to 15mm and vertical movement up to 30mm. After achieving proper alignment, the base can be locked to prevent slippage

Optional Accessories
The Luxvision SL-1100 slit lamp can be equipped with the TN-150 / TN-150B applanation tonometer or the Haag-Streit AG Model R-900 or Model T-900 applanation tonometer for intraocular pressure measurement. The unit includes a 16x eyepiece as standard. A 10x eyepiece is optional.
